ATF Form 4 Filing/Transfer

When purchasing a silencer, short-barrel rifle (SBR), short-barrel shotgun (SBS), or AOW, the ATF requires the buyer to first complete an ATF Form 4 plus a $200 tax stamp payment that allows a dealer like Lemcoe Precision to transfer the device to you. This process involves fingerprints, a passport-style photo, and CLEO notifications, all of which can be handled by our in-house team.

The Form 4 process is now 100% digital using ATF eForms, and wait times for many transfers take under 14 days (for Individual filings) and under 100 days (for Trust filings).

Lemcoe Precision charges a flat $280 NFA transfer fee which includes the $200 tax stamp payment to the ATF  for items not purchased through Lemcoe Precision.

We partner with SilencerShop for most silencer transfers. Take a look at in-stock inventory on our SilencerShop Portal here: SilencerShop Live Inventory.
